Mr Justice Eady did the keynote address at the Justice Conference on 1st December 2009, tackling head-on the issue of whether a law of privacy needs to be judge-led, if not coming via the legislature. Justice Eady looks back on the cases since late 1980's, and the spate since the HRA. Libel tourism is also given the spotlight. Worth checking out a previous speech published in the Press Gazette in August.
