A New Homicide Act for England & Wales? Law Commission Consultation Paper No. 177
In a previous paper covering Defences to Murder The Law Commission described the law of murder as "a mess". As a result of this the Government requested a review and this is it. The paper reviewed the various elements of murder and makes various recommendations whilst putting the paper 'out there' for wide consultation. The Consultation was published in December 2005 and is in pdf.
