Jones's pivotal piece on the rule of law. Essential reading for any student of constitutional law. In this paper, Jones attacks the analysis of the rule of law made by Hayek in 1944, and suggests a model of administrative law which can reconcile the political redistributivsm of a social democratic welfare state with a recognisably Diceyan understanding of the rule of law.
