Founded in 1965 BACFI (Bar Association for Commerce, Finance & Industry) have been putting on an annual lecture by an eminent lawyer since 1975. These became known as the Denning Lectures and this one is from December 2008. Baroness Hale addresses all the issues tied into the UK Supreme Court - what do Law Lords actually do? Where did the idea for reform come from? What models from other jurisdictions can we draw on? How will the UK Supreme Court work?
